Left Forum 2011: The Newbie’s Introduction to Left Forum (The Mantle)

As the newbie on the Mantle team here at Left Forum, I think it is safe to say I did not know what I was getting myself into when I signed up to cover this event. They tried to warn me, but who could have predicted starting out the weekend by meeting Dr. Cornel West and Frances Fox Piven? Not to mention hanging out next to Laura Flanders and Paul Mason.
